Mondays....

I don't know what it is about Monday morning that makes me feel so out of energy. This weekend we did go to bed late Saturday night, so maybe I'm just old. We had a lot of fun with some friends playing games and eating dinner. I will have to say that you know you are out of shape when you are a little sore from playing bowling on the Wii. Those of you who are wondering "what is a Wii"..it is an interactive video game system. Like when you bowl, you have to act like you are really bowling. It's pretty cool. Other than that, we had a pretty uneventful weekend. We started a gospel meeting Sunday that I think is going to be good.
I've posted some pictures of little Alayna. She is really enjoying sitting up all by herself! She plays on her playmat and likes to "read" her little soft book. She also is enjoying her cereal that she eats once a day. She knows what I have when she sees me holding her little bowl. Ahh...they do learn so fast!

Kids...aren't they great!

Last night Ashton and Alayna were laughing so hard at each other. They were taking turns just cackling at each other. It was such a great thing to hear! It reminded me how much fun they are:) They are both down for nap right now. I like nap time, it lets me have a little break. I let Ashton take a book to bed to look at for a while. I was in the other room feeding Alayna when I heard him say "OK time for nap." I went in and peeked at him and he had gone to sleep! How cute is that. He also learned how to write the letter "A" today. He is so proud! Well I'm going to rest a little myself, so until next time....

Here is our Kentucky pictures, it's a little long..but hey we were there for over a week! Today is beautiful outside in the 70's and sunny. The house is very quiet because Ashton spent the night with Grammi and Papa last night. I enjoy quiet! After a day I do start to miss my little talker;) Alayna is asleep in her swing so I might take this time to rest a bit. Enjoy the pictures! Until next time...

The new and improved blog site....

I decided that the other blog I had started was a little to hard to navigate through. SO I am now using this one...I think it's much easier. Anyway...today is very pretty outside. Ashton wants to go play, but we got rain and it's very muddy. So he is going to have to run circles inside for now;) His new thing has been to hold out his bendable flashlight and hold each side while running around and pretending he is driving a motorcycle. He is such a nut. Alayna is sleeping right now. I'm sure she is going to be sitting up by her self soon! I think this weekend we will work on our front yard. I'm excited to plant flowers and get our grass going. Until next time....
