Christmas was fun this year. It's fun every year, but of course this year was a little different because it was our first year to have 2 children enjoying opening gifts. Last year Alayna was to small to even know what was going on, but this year she really had a lot of fun! Shawn and I were up early trying to get the cameras ready to get some cute pictures. Ashton didn't even wake up until about 8:00! Both of them had a wonderful Christmas morning. Our house looks like ToysRus now! After the kids opened all the gifts we had breakfast at our house with the family. It was nice to share the morning with everyone. Ashton was so excited to get his Batman cave from Santa and some other really cool things ! Alayna is really enjoying her new little kitchen and little people doll house. Today was so nice outside, it was like a spring day. We actually had the windows open most of the day! I was almost motivated to "spring clean!" But today I had a head cold...I miss the taste of food;) We did get all the Christmas decor put back in the attic. How come the house looks so empty once the tree and stuff is put away? Well, guess it's time to get ready for the new year! Happy new year everyone!
Well Saturday was Ashton's 4th birthday party. All of his little friend came and they played outside for hours. They really had a lot of fun. We tried to play some games, but they weren't really interested this year, maybe next time! He was really excited to have a cowboy party. He got some cute gifts this year. I think his favorites are his cowboy bedding and his transformer toys. He also got a few different games, so we've been working on playing them today. He's learning to take turns and everything else that goes along with learning board games. After the party we headed out to Johnson City to see the Christmas lights. It was really cold that night so it was seasonal and the kids really enjoyed it. We were wishing we got a video of Alayna enjoying that night. They had horse carriages and every time one past us by, she got really excited about seeing the horse! All the kids loved running around under all the lit trees. So it was a fun day for us! Next weekend we are planning on making our last trip to Sea World this year....yes again! We are making the most of our season pass! They are suppose to have the park decorated for the holidays and have special shows. I'm just excited it's not going to be so hot...and Julie and Jason are planning to go this time, so that will be fun. Well until the next update, guess this is all for now! Hope all are having a great holiday season:)
