What a week!

This week has been so fun! My inlaws are here visiting us from Kentucky and the kids are having a great time with them. We startd off the week going to Ashton's preschool graduation, and it was the cutest thing! The marched down to the music, got their diploma and then sang some special songs...one of wich was about Mommies, and they did it in sign language too! I can't beleive that he is going off to Kindergarten in a few months. It was so great that he was able to attend this preschool...of course, I'm a little biased since I work there. But it truely is a wonderful school.
We also had a good time at the childrens museum one afternoon. They had fun exploring and playing together. We've just been enjoying our time with Nana and Papaw while they are here!
My school year also ended this week as well. I had to say good bye to my class for the summer. It was really sad! I had the best little class. My class next year has some big shoes to fill :) I will miss them, but it's so cool to see how much they have grown and changed over the year and know I had a little part in helping them do so.

What a busy month!

I can not believe I have not posted in a month! I have been busy with other things, that I haven't even thought about posting on my blog. For one, I am taking a class to get my CDA(child development associates). This has been a fun, beneficial class that I've enjoyed. It's helped me as a teacher as well as a parent! This class has been on Saturdays....so needless to say I've just busy nearly every day of the week lately. Also, we are in our last couple of weeks of school! This year has gone by so fast, and it's been a blast! I'm not sure what to do with myself when school is out...it may be a long summer! We'll find some fun activities for the kids. I want Ashton to have a fun summer before KINDERGARTEN!
Yesterday morning, I registered Ashton for Kindergarten! Wow! When did he grow up so fast? He was super excited to go up to the "big school". I think his school will be good and he will enjoy it. Ashton was able to spend some fun time with his great grandfather a few days ago. They built a bird house together and he had the greatest time! It was a pretty special day they had together :)

So other than my CDA class, wrapping up the school year and keeping my niece, Hannah on Tuesday, Thursdays...that's about all that's going on right now. Busy, Busy...but it's all about to slow way down and then I will have to find some other things to do :) Until next time...
